Trail Conditions

All trails and track set tonight. Conditions are very good.

CAUTION: The Side-by-Side groomer has broken down on Ross’s Revenge and can’t be moved. Please avoid this trail.

All trails were groomed tonight. No track set. The conditions are quite good. There are some wet areas on the return of the inner Purple. These will ice up overnight and you can easily ski around them.

Rolled and packed all trails. A good amount of new snow last night has further added to replenishing the base! Skiers today commented that the snow was not fast and some skiers were experiencing ‘sticky’ conditions. With further grooming and colder overnight temperatures skiing this weekend will be good.

Rolled and packed all trails except Yellow from the Pavilion to Ken’s Lane, Orange under the communication towers, and Blue. We are expecting more snow that will be caught by the rolled surfaces tonight and ongoing finer grooming will continue tomorrow. Keep doing the snow dance so conditions improve for the weekend!

Trails are Open!

The trails received 10 to 15 cm of light fluffy snow today. We are in the process of rolling to compact the snow. We will then wait until Friday morning to groom. This allows the snow to setup overnight and adhere to the icy base. The lights will be on tonight for skiing.

TRAILS ARE CLOSED

Due to the warmer temperatures and rain in the upcoming forecast, we have CLOSED the trails to help preserve the base. The trails will remain CLOSED until trail conditions allow. Thank you for staying off the trails.

Trails were groomed tonight. Conditions are still quite good with the exception of the south facing slopes of the Inner and Outer Red which have bare spots, the Inner Purple in the pit which has a large ice area(Not Recommended to ski) and the Yellow trail from the Pavilion to Orange which is lacking snow coverage. There are some icy areas in various locations along the trails. These will soften when the temperature rises above zero. It looks like another day of skiing tomorrow.

All trails groomed except the Yellow from the Pavilion to Orange, the inner Purple in the pit(large sections of ice) and the Blue from the end of Hell’s Bell’s bypass to Red(Hardwood). The groomed trails will be hard and fast Wednesday morning. The south facing portions of the inner and outer Red have bare spots. Depending on how warm the temperature gets on Wednesday and the warming forecast, it may be the last day to ski until we get some colder temperatures and new snow.

Similar to last night. All skate trails groomed. No single track set. Yellow from Pavilion to Ken’s Lane and Blue not groomed tonight. Inner Purple has 40 ft.+ section of ice just past a large green property number sign. Cold evening temperatures and only a small amount of sun has made tracks hard. No dark ice patches. Ski conditions remain good😊!

A solid base has helped to preserve good ski conditions. Early morning ski conditions will be hard and fast, slower softer conditions in the afternoon. Get out and enjoy some overall good conditions.
