THE TOWN OF MONO, THE CREDIT VALLEY CONSERVATION AUTHORITY AND THE NOT FOR PROFIT, MONO NORDIC CROSS COUNTRY SKI CLUB ARE PARTNERS, PROVIDING WALKING TRAILS IN SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL, AND SKIING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE WINTER. CHECK OUT THE FOLLOWING EVENTS OPEN TO MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

TOWN OF MONO MONORA PUMPKIN WALK

Organized and Hosted by The Town of Mono Recreation Department and Advisory Committee.

Date: Nov. 1 st Start a new Family Tradition
Where: Monora Park

Warm Cider provided by the Recreation
Advisory Committee
Mono Nordic Ski Club will be attending and
promoting the Club with a Draw for a Weekend
Ski Pass for 4.
Just Drop by and say “Hi!”

WALK THE TRAIL BEFORE THE SNOW FLIES

Date: 2nd Saturday and Sunday in November
Where: Meet at Upper Parking Lot, by the stairs
Details:

Meet a Mono Nordic Ambassador for a hike on
the trails.
Develop a plan to ensure a safe and successful
first ski experience on foot.
Discover some family friendly trails and by-pass
trails.

Ladies day

Date: Third Saturday in January,
from 9:00 t0 1:00 pm
Where: Pavilion at Monora Park
Details:

Open to Mono Nordic Members, and the
general public….
A great way to introduce your friends to
Cross Country Skiing
Affordable and a great deal as it includes
equipment, trail fees, a ski lesson, guided tour
of the trails, lunch, glass of wine and door prizes
Members are being offered a discounted rate
and also a chance to have a lesson and try out
skate skis
Door Prizes and a sip of cider on the trails
The event sells out fast… so don’t delay
