About the Jackrabbits Program
Designed for children aged 5-10, the JackRabbit program emphasizes the “FUNdamentals” of skill development. Our mission is to foster a lasting love for cross-country skiing, enhancing children’s health and quality of life.
Key Details:
- Duration: Mid-December to the first weekend in March, subject to snow conditions.
2025/2026 JACKRABBIT RATES
To register for Jackrabbits the child must have a club
membership.
JackRabbit program with seasonal rental equipment: $105
JackRabbit program with own equipment: $70
Registration in JackRabbits includes a JackRabbits toque
** A supplemental fee of $23 per skier is payable to our parent organizations – Southern Ontario District, Cross CountryOntario and Cross Country Canada. These fees are payable only once per skier, regardless of which programs/membership they are registered for. These fees support the development of cross country skiing in Ontario and Canada as well as providing liability insurance coverage for activities approved by Cross Country Ski de Fond Canada. Also included in the fee are required payments for insurance and ski organization fees.
