Elementary School Program

Mono Nordic offers an elementary school ski program for students in Grades 4 through 8. The half day program includes basic safe-ski instruction followed by a ski on our trails led by club volunteers.

Schools who would like their students to participate in this program should designate a representative to coordinate with interested teachers and then contact the Mono Nordic School Ski Program coordinator to book dates to attend. Snow dependent, we book on Monday through Friday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from January through March. Schools usually book for several sessions per season.

The fee for the half day program is $5.00 per student per session for groups of up to 55 students comprising two classes. This fee includes use of trails and equipment as well as instruction and supervision on the trails. Groups of 30 or less pay a flat rate of $150.00. Transportation is the school’s responsibility.

Groups of up to 55 students comprising two classes can be booked for morning or afternoon sessions. We request that the two classes be a junior and an intermediate to ensure we have adequate boot and ski equipment sizes for all students.
