All trails groomed tonight.  Any brown spots and leaf debris should disappear as snow is in the forecast for the weekend an into early next week! The majority of trails should be fast and hard tomorrow and conditions will be similar to today. Any thin areas remain easily avoidable. Best trails remain red (hardwoods), orange, and yellow from the pavilion to Ken’s Lane.

All trails groomed tonight. No new snow, but snow is in the forecast for later this week! Trails are in shape to collect this snow which will improve thin bare patches that are easily avoidable while skiing. Best conditions will be found on the hardwood red, Ken’s Lane, Ross’s Revenge, Suds Summit, Salt’s Stairway, orange, and yellow from the pavilion to Ken’s Lane. Trails will be hard and fast if your wax choice is correct. Should be an enjoyable ski tomorrow.

All trails rolled/groomed with exception of yellow from the pavilion to Ken’s Lane, blue, and orange under the communication tower. Inner purple in the pits is not recommended to ski due to icy conditions. Yellow by County rd. 16 is thin, as are hills on inner and outer red. Snow and wind tonight will benefit the accumulation of snow on the trails. Conditions tomorrow will likely be similar to what looked to be a successful ski today!

The Trails( except Blue) have been groomed this evening after what appears to have been a successful ski day. The base is increasing in thickness but there is still a number of areas that need more snow. These are, as mentioned previously, on the hills of the inner and outer Red. There is some water rising to the surface along parts of the Purple within the gravel pit area. Forecasted colder temperatures and snow will alleviate these issues.

All trails groomed/rolled with the exception of orange under the communication towers, yellow from the pavilion to Ken’s Lane and blue. Conditions are fair Porcupine Hill, “S” Turn and much of the inner red is thin as well as purple/yellow by County Rd. 16. Caution as there is rough ice under a snow cover by green farmers gate as you enter the pits. Purple in the pits is benefitting from new snow! As temperatures remain cooler trails should be firm for a good New Years ski tomorrow.
