Trail Conditions

All trails except Blue were groomed. A light dusting of snow has fallen since grooming. The base is firming up. Track was reset. Double track was set from the Pavilion to Ken’s Lane.

Saturday January 18 and Sunday January 19th, the Lower level of the Pavilion will be open.

HOWEVER,  Mono Nordic Ladies Day is on Saturday January 18, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Registration is FULL.

Equipment rentals will be limited Saturday morning as our Ladies Day participants get first priority. By the afternoon we will be able to have our whole line of equipment rentals available.

Full groom except blue. Track set on all red trails, Ken’s Lane, purple/yellow/orange, not up at NW corner by county rd. 16. Grooming conditions were the best this year! Cold temperatures will firm up the trails and with not too much more snow accumulation it will be a fine day for skiing the trails.

All trails rolled this morning. Blue and yellow from the pavilion to Ken’s Lane, and orange were not groomed this morning. Ski conditions were a bit sticky, paying close attention to wax choices could only benefit your glide experience. There has been a steady flurry in the air since last night and into this afternoon. Happy trails very nice to see it snowing!

All trails groomed tonight. No Track was set due to insufficient base. Trails are in good condition. Light snow falling while grooming. Should be a good day to ski tomorrow.

All trails were rolled and compacted this morning. We had approximately 10cm of new snow last night. Nearly all bare spots have been covered. Lots of skiers out this morning taking advantage of the new snow. Conditions are good but the base is still thin.

All trails groomed tonight.  Any brown spots and leaf debris should disappear as snow is in the forecast for the weekend an into early next week! The majority of trails should be fast and hard tomorrow and conditions will be similar to today. Any thin areas remain easily avoidable. Best trails remain red (hardwoods), orange, and yellow from the pavilion to Ken’s Lane.

All trails groomed tonight. No new snow, but snow is in the forecast for later this week! Trails are in shape to collect this snow which will improve thin bare patches that are easily avoidable while skiing. Best conditions will be found on the hardwood red, Ken’s Lane, Ross’s Revenge, Suds Summit, Salt’s Stairway, orange, and yellow from the pavilion to Ken’s Lane. Trails will be hard and fast if your wax choice is correct. Should be an enjoyable ski tomorrow.

All trails were groomed this evening. The base is still thin in a number of areas. A number of trails such as most of the Hardwood Loop, All of Ken’s Lane, the Valley, Orange, portions of Purple provide good skiing. Over the past few nights the trails have received approximately 3cm of new snow each night.
