1. trail captains & trail Volunteers
Date: Captains will meet with Mark Burgess on Saturday Oct. 21 or Sunday Oct. 22 to discuss plans, assign trails to cover, locate and determine equipment required.
Where: Maintenance Building in lower parking lot at 9:00 am

- Once the plans have been made, Captains will inform Trail Volunteers of the dates, tasks and tools.

2. Orangeville Saturday Market
Date: Saturday Oct. 5, and Saturday Oct. 12.
Where: Orangeville Market, located on Second Street, between Broadway and First Ave., beside the Town Hall.
Details:
- Set up/take down booth
- Promote Mono Nordic and answer questions.

3. Mulch day
Date: Saturday, October 19, 2024
Where: Maintenance Building, lower parking lot at 9:00 am. to 1:00 pm.
Details:
- Spread mulch on trails
- Bring shovel, rake, gloves, water, mask (dusty work)

4. cider hut
Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024
Where: Meet at Ross and Sharon’s place, 593277 Blind Line, Take a right at the fork at 9:00 am to 1:00
Details:
- Weed eat and tidy Cider Hut area
- Possibly replenish camp fire wood
- Bring gloves, water, weed eater if you have one, rake

5. toronto Ski show
Date: Fri. Oct. 25, Sat. Oct 26, Sun. Oct. 27

Details:
- Man the Southern Ontario Cross Country Ski Booth to promote Cross Country ski in Ontario and highlight the benefits of visiting Mono Nordic Ski Club

6. The Town of Mono’s Monora Park Pumpkin Trail Event
Community Outreach Table, plus Volunteers for Event set up and take down
Date: November 1, 2024
Where: Monora Park, location of Outreach Table to be determined
Details:
- Citizens will be dropping off pumpkin between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
- Event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 pm
- Volunteers required to assist the Town with set up and removal of the pumpkins at the end of the event, plus man the Outreach Table
- Also looking for a Member who would be interested in being the organizer next year and work along side this year’s organizer.

7. Be an Ambassador for “Walk the Trail before the Snow Flies”
Date: Saturday Nov. 9, 2024 and Sunday Nov. 10, 2024
Where: Meet in the UPPPER Parking lot at Monora Park
Details:
- Looking for a Member who would be interested in being the organizer next year and work along side this year’s organizer.
Everything has been prepared… It’s a walk in the woods! - Introduce new members and the local community to the Monora Park Trails in order to ensure their first day skiing is a success.
