Have you heard the great news?

The Ontario Trillium Foundation has granted $78,600 to the Mono Nordic Ski Club so we can erect a Maintenance and Operations Building (MOB) in the lower parking lot at Monora Park. We’ve got approval from the Town of Mono and Credit Valley Conservation and we’re excited to be off to such a great financial start, but we need your help to raise the roof and complete this project.

Why do we need a new building?

For 34 years, we have benefitted from the opportunity to store our maintenance equipment and extra ski equipment on a member’s private property at no cost.

Because our collection of equipment has expanded and our storage arrangement is expiring, we are planning to build a Club Maintenance and Operations Building in the lower parking lot of Monora Park.

How can I help?

The Fundraising Committee is working hard to make this building a reality in Spring 2020, but we need your help! There are multiple ways to help:

  • Join the fundraising committee
  • Contact the committee with possible funding sources / sponsors / ideas
  • Provide in-kind support of the project with materials and/or labour
  • Donate financially to the project (see below)

How can I donate?

  • In-Person at the Monora Park Pavilion during regular operating hours (Sat/Sun during ski season). Cash, cheque, or Visa/MasterCard accepted. Tax receipts available.
  • In-Person at the Town of Mono municipal office during regular operating hours (Mon-Fri). Cash, cheque, Visa/MasterCard, or debit accepted. Tax receipts available.
  • By Mail. Download the Donation Form and mail in your donation.
  • Online via National Sport Trust Fund Ontario (NSTFO) at http://www.sport4ontario.ca/cc.html. Tax receipts available. (Please note that 6-8% of each donation will be retained by NSTFO.) If donating online, select “Mono Nordic Ski Club” in the Organizations Name drop-down menu.

Olimometer 2.52 Thank you to all those who have already donated financially, in-kind, and/or with time and energy! With over $78,000 granted by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, we still have $71,000 to go!

Please help us reach our goal.
